So there the concept was to do a motorcycle road trip for 2 weeks through Morocco with very little motorcycle experience in our lives. A road trip that we planned on site in Casablanca when we arrived. Then the big suspense was to know if we were going to be able to manage driving a motorcycle in Morocco for two weeks. Verdict: everything was perfect and in the end we rode 2000 km (Don't do it at home, it's an experiment carried out by professionals!)

We camped, drove, ate, chatted in the 4 corners of Morocco, and discovered the specialties of each region: From the Saffron of Taliouine, crossing the Great Atlas without forgetting the tanneries of Fez, to the Berbers of Lake Tislit who welcomed us to their home. In short, it was many beautiful moments of cultural sharing that we experienced during these two weeks.

Obviously we had our problems, like the derailment of a motorcycle chain in full ascent of a pass trough the Grand Atlas. Of course, we had not anticipated a possible breakage or thought it was worth to learn some basic mechanics. (yes we know, it's not very smart...)

So we managed to put the chain back on the bike (ps: it's messy for those who would like to know and we ended up understanding that it worked like on a bicycle). We also had the issue of running out of fuel when we thought that it we had enough. A big thank you to the three guys in the middle of nowhere who helped us out.

We learned a lot during the trip. Mostly at the teamwork level, but also how to individually manage our stress. In the end, the experience was an immense realization, a whole new feeling of freedom for us, and 2160km of memories engraved in our heads. We became real adventurers and since then we have always wanted to do more.

We advise you to watch the photos, they make you dream!!

If we have inspired any, contact us! We have created a motorcycle tourism agency in Morocco (and would like to do Iceland too).
